I think this would also serve to highlight worthwhile solutions, especially if you couldn't just like solutions but perhaps had a one-click way of awarding labels such as "educational", or "cleanly coded", or "technically outstanding" or so. This would then enable the display of solution that are best overall, or "most educational", "most cleanly coded", and so on, which would in term help users who want to learn something new.
Given that Cody is supposed to be a learning resource, I think this'd be something Mathworks could and should do (so if anyone of you Mathworkers working on Cody is reading this, please discuss this internally)
That's what I have believed.
And, TMW defines Cody as a "Game" - (see here on the Cody Help section = https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/content/cody/about.html)
See this MATLAB Answers thread with quite a debate - https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/479025-regarding-matlab-cody-solutions#comment_742489
The reason why I say debate, is, because the thread is >6 years old, and since then Cody has improved significantly, especially in the regard of cheating (which is the highlight of the thread).
Unfortunately, I am unable to find that post to refer to it.
Though, one can argue that honing/enhancing your skills is learning as well, which is fair enough in itself.

Wonderful!!!
It's moments like this that I wish there were a "Like" button for solutions, too.
There *was* a like button for solutions! But it seems to have been purged, idk why.
There are badges for that as well - 'Renowned' and 'Celebrity', but they can't be claimed now.
Oh, nice! Perhaps it can be brought back then.

I doubt that would be considered given the fact that the Cody Team has recently launched "Community Preferred Solutions".
Your proposition is interesting and could be incoroporated with the current system, I'll let them know about this, Thanks!
Though I will say that Cody is not viewed as a learning resource, but rather a tool/platform to apply and hone one's (MATLAB) coding skills.
Thanks, Dyuman! Much appreciated.
Cody isn't meant as a learning resource? I seem to recall reading exactly that when the community voting feature was introduced.
