What's missing from Simulink?

I'm curious, is there something you wish to do with Simulink but you can't or it's something basic that you do by combining other simulink blocks, maybe something you can do with other similar software but can't with Simulink?
For example this Question
I submited the request: There's no easy way to generate square waves with specific rise time (Slew rate), the signal generators should have another parameter for the rise time (and also fall time) because that would be similar to real world square waves.

Hi
I needed some improvement
I do simulatons with simpowersystems , with a large number (>400) of electric and simulink blocks.
When the model builds I receive :
Warning: Matrix is close to singular or badly scaled. Results may be inaccurate. RCOND = ... small *1e-20.
I would like to know where the model is weird and if it truely affects my results or only those elements (usually some snubbers or resistors with academic values) which I put in to complete the topology to function, otherwise the model will not build.
These components should not be considered in the accuracy considerations of the model, they have to be there, but are irrelevant to the results I expect.
It would be clever, if I could "mask" these blocks in this respect because of accuracy, performance and runtime .
Thanks
E.M.
