control the size of the display

How can a control the size of the plots displayed by plot command. At the moment I use the mnouse to enlarge the figures. Thanks

Look at this example
t=0:0.1:10;
y=sin(t);
plot(t,y);
set(gcf,'units','inches','position',[1 1 10 5])
