Is stft supported on Matlab R2018a?

As far as the webdocs say, stft() was introduced in R2019a. That said, there are stft tools on the File Exchange. One of them may work for your needs, but I doubt it'll be a drop-in replacement if you're trying to get some existing code to work. You might need to adapt them.
