When I was trying to run a simple program in Embedded MATLAB function, first it said 'unable to locate "mexopts.bat".. then as it directed I entered the command "mex -setup", when i run the program again, it says "command duality is not supported".. how this can be resolved.?

OK. Now the "mex -setup" got executed. but the available compilers are show as "NONE".. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? I had installed MS Visual C ++ 2008 SP1 in my system..

You need the SDK also. Please look in the documentation for the list of supported compilers to find out the required version.

You are probably calling a function using the command syntax, instead of the function syntax. The former syntax is not supported for code-generation. See here for an explanation of what command duality means.
