Hi,
I am looking for a way to turn a one-time input into a permanent signal. Every solution I can think of would include a feedback loop which Simulink won't accept.
Any ideas?

It turns out I'm just really dense. I solved my problem by just using an integrator and put a Compare-To-Zero (==) at the output. This way, any one-time nonzero input to the integrator, no matter how small the timestep, will result in a Boolean 1 as a permanent output signal.
An obvious solution but maybe someone will have the same issue.
