set the first variable of x as an observation

Hello to all, My variable x is a dataset variable resulting from a database query. x has 5 columns (variables) ad no observartions. I need to set the first variable of x as an observation How do i do it? thank you

Can you give a short example, for example with 3 columns and 4 rows, and what are you expecting as result?
