MATLAB 2012b Freeze in Mac OSX Mountain Lion

Hi, I have installed Matlab 2012b on my Mac Retina, but for some reason, the graphic interface get stuck when I open the program, meaning that when I pulse some in the interface nothing happens unless I put zoom. Is this kind of bug? How to fix it?
Thank you

I am having the same problem. Matlab freezes when on startup. But calling matlab -nojvm works fine so I suspect it is java that is the problem. "java -version" gives:
java version "1.6.0_51"
Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_51-b11-456-11M4508)
Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.51-b01-456, mixed mode)
but this did not work either.

You need to update Java (from -456-xxx to -457-xxx)

I am running 2012b on my MacBook pro, non-retina with no problems. Latest OS X, 10.8.4.

Java problem. First try updating to the latest Java (a new version came out in the last day or so.) If that fails then see http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/answers/80602-matlabpool-disabled-by-apple-s-java-update-again

I have the latest Java version. Also I tried the matlabpool trick but still not working...Any other advice? Is it possible that two older Java version are crashing?
