It depends on the type of the data and the kind of "data mining" you perform. There is no general answer.

Or perhaps I'm wrong and with a sufficient scaling of the values, 42 is the correct threshold, of course.

My data set is in numeric format and can you suggest me sir how to identify the threshold value?
