Logitech G29 Steering Wheel Read Block Error

4 views (last 30 days)
I'm trying to use the Steering Wheel Read block from the Simulink Real-Time toolbox, and keep getting the following error:
"Error evaluating 'InitFcn' callback of Logitech G29 Steering Wheel block (mask) 'steeringWheelTest/Steering Wheel Read '.
Callback string is 'steeringWheelSlgate('validateSettings',bdroot);'
Caused by:
Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type."
I checked the folder it's pointing to and the S-function is there, not sure what else to look for. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jordan,
Could be an installation issue... I would recommend submitting a ticket to the MathWorks support team.
Best,
Dimitri

Hi,
In order to use the Logitech G29 Steering wheel read block the G29 Steering wheel should be connected to the Speedgoat Realtime Machine. The Simulink Real Time Library is not a part of Desktop PC hence the simulation fails.
