i have a figure that is made externally using the proE software...the figure is in xml format...when i try to open the file...i do no get the complete graphical image..??

i have a figure that is made externally using the proE software...the figure is in xml format...when i try to open the file...i do no get the complete graphical image..but only lines representing the links...i guess it has something to do with the stl files that specify the graphics of the image..i do have the files in .stl format..but i dont know how to add the files to matlab directory....plz help...!!
