Access the txt file for a simulink model

Hello, I want to make the connections on a simulink model by giving commands from a .m file. I see that I can access the text file for a model by right clicking on the model file in the current folder. What I need to do is make changes to the connections in the model using commands from a .m file. Please Help. Thanks

Use add_line and delete_line
