Sound that covers a large frequency range.

I'm in the process of doing an assignment that deals with FIR filter, where we focus on loudspeakers.
Then I became a little curious about how it will be possible for me to create a function, that illustrates that 'typical sounds' cover a large frequency range?
How would I be able to illustrate that?

hello
you can record music / sound using your PC and a wave file editor like Goldwave. or use any music file that you already have.
to do spectral analysis , you can see my little demo in the attachement
I suspect you want to use FIR filters to do loudspeaker / room acoustic correction ?
