PID controller tunning using soft computing method

i am given a transfer function "1/s(s+1)(s+2)"...for the given transfer function ,i have to use genetic algorithm tool box to optimize the PID controller with the given transfer function.I am using matlab 7.11.0 ,i don't know how to initiate the process..it would be very helpful if you kindly help me out ,how to do it .

It is not clear what exactly you are trying to do from your question.

If you need to tune PID controller gaisn for good performance and stability, take a look at PID Control with MATLAB and Simulink.
