How to use lsqcurvefit to calculate Urban Heat Island Intensity

6 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
I'm looking at some research papers by Streutker (2003) - https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0034425703000075 and Anniballe, R. & Bonafoni, S. (2015) - https://www.mdpi.com/1999-4893/8/2/82/htm
They describe using the lsqcurvefit function to calculate the magnitude, spatial extent, orientation, and central location of the heat island, but I'm quite new to MATLAB, so I don't understand how to use that function to find it. Would anyone be able to explain it for me please?
Thank you

LOL you're absolutely right. I shouldn't have asked this community. I just emailed them the question.
