smoothing the poor image of resolution 2.5cm in range and 1 degree in azimuth and elevation

I have a half-sphere with a poor

resolution of 1 deg in azimuth and elevation angles and 2.5 cm resolution in range.

I have to do smoothing. I can use 3D interpolation. Please tell how to go about it.

I have generated the poor image using griddata which does interpolation of scattered data, i have to generate image by smoothing it, the function interp2 has too be done again or something else.
