How to read TDMS file of a large size

Hello all,

I searched in the community about this topic and they provided some scripts to process this.

However after I tested some TDMS file from difference sources, there is one error shown as below.

error:

The data type and size of the value must be defined before the value can be retrieved.

Error in readTDMS (line 118)

disp(['File Description: ' char(filedesc.Value)]);

Could you please advise how to define the type and size?
