How i can install R2011b in Xp service Pack 3?

hey ! i m trying to install R2011b in Xp service pack 3. while installaion @ 99% an error window occurs showing that some kind of Framework thing. can any body guide me how can i install R2011b in win Xp......

Are you sur it's an error? I think it's just a message, just continue your installation.

it also mentioned that "you must have framwork 86 .NE and reinstall again". after compeletion of 100% installation matlab icon doesnt appear not even in the Start Menu

Go to the folder where matlab is installed, you will find your executable, then create a shortcut to your desktop. The folder should be something like

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2011b\bin
