matlab start shortcut does not start

Clicking the matlab start-shortcut does not start the program (just flashing the DOS like screen, dissapears and nothing moves). 2 hours ago, it worked, but after I used window system recovery, this problem appeared.

Hi Toshihiko,

You can go to the installation directory location, where matlab.exe is located by default,

C:\Program Files\MATLAB\<MATLAB version R20XXx>\bin\matlab and run MATLAB from there and see if that works. If it works this means the installation is correct.

If in case you are not able to run MATLAB, since you have done windows recovery It might have reverted to the previous recovery point. As a workaround I recommend you to install MATLAB from scratch.
