Genetic algorithms stopping criteria

I am using the GUI of Global Optimization Toolbox, GA solver. How to tell whether the reasons for the optimization terminated display with the results are acceptable?

Does it mean that as long as the optimization is running, any optimization terminated reasons are correct? In another way, can I say that if the stopping criteria is wrong then it will cause an error and optimization cannot proceed?
