Finding Distance Between Peaks

How Do you find the distance between peaks along the x axis? How would one go about averaging that data.

Depends, you need to provide us with some more detail. Is your data noisy? What do you want to average, the peak data or the original data? Post some sample data and how far you got.

Do you mean the number of elements between previously identified peaks? Or have they been calibrated somehow, like one element equals 1 cm or 1 millisecond or something like that? I'm also not sure what you want to average? Do you want to average the data between the peaks? If so, would that include the peak values themselves, or just the data in between but not including the peaks?
