how to create piecewise planar surfaces of a wireframe structure from 3D coordinate data

hello i m working on facial action unit detection :3D vs 2D modality. i have been able to obtain depth matrix as well as cloud of points from the 3D data but now i want to create piecewise planar surface of wire-frame structure from 3D coordinate data.

plz suggest me any tutorial or any idea will be appreciable.
