Brightness intensity peak detection

Is there any way or function in MATLAB to get the image x.jpg as at this link..?

I tried morphological and thinning but not effective..

We already talked about this in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/54085-how-to-detect-peaks-in-laser-strip and you accepted the answer. Are you saying that the problem is not solved anymore? (If so, you should have continued that thread instead of starting a new on on the very same topic.)
