What should be the data type for 32 bit C2000 MCU?

I am using F28027 for motor control application and technique I am using is Field Oriented Control, And currently I am doing PIL(Processor in Loop) using embedded coder support package.
Most of times I am getting data type errors. So what should be the data type while using C2000 controllers.
