Whenever I try to read a file with audioread specifiying a lower and upper limit
audioread('funky.mp3', [1, 44100*50])
MATLAB crashes. It works if I don't specify the limits.
I'm on Manjaro, linux kernel version 4.19, MATLAB R2019b, crash dump attached.

Hi Enrico!
Your crash report includes some errors on the "gstreamer" framework. "gstreamer" is the default platform API that MATLAB uses to work with mp3 files. That seems to be the issue causing the crash. Try updating/fixing the "gstreamer" install on your Linux machine.
Hope this helps!
