How to set the region of interest with mouse for video

Hello,

i have a video with ~300*200 points. Several cylindrical cylinders are filmed and an object inside the cylinder will be tracked. To avoid noise and to deal with different camera positions, I would like to set at the beginning the ROI´s with the mouse in a GUI-like way.

Any hints ?
