Request for more detailed documentaion and examples for rankfeatures

Hi Team,

I am using rankfeatures modules to rank features but I am unable to understand class seperability critaria, can some one please explain in layman term.

I got this document https://www.mathworks.com/help/bioinfo/ref/rankfeatures.html but it dint gave me much about logic behind it.
