I would like help with modeling and simulating a 7.4 volts lithium ion battery in simscape.

I understand that you are trying to create a model with a lithium ion battery in Simscape. As of now there is no Lithium Ion battery model in Simscape Electrical, but you can create your custom model. This model is available on MathWorks File Exchange https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36019-lithium-battery-model-simscape-language-and-simulink-design-optimization.
