Matlab output format ( in surface format ) for geometry generation for further FEA analysis required

A program is written to generate a different parametric changes of a Spur gear. Plots/Figures are generated to show the gear generated and other requested outputs results.
How can we save/write the output of the design generated by the matlab program in Iges or Stp format . . ? ( geometry/surface required)
( This geometry/surface obtained is used further in a FEM software ( Abaqus / Lsdyna ) for further analysis )
