I want to separate spine from MRI or CT scan image

I want separate/extract the spine from an MRI image or CT scan of back spine to find the angle of vertebra curve to determine scoliosis by image processing.

We understood what you meant. It's just that this forum deals with MATLAB programming questions, not questions on what algorithm to use, unless it's a very simple algorithm. Medical segmentation problems are usually very complicated and can be solved in a number of different ways, hence the list of papers on the subject that I gave you in my answer. We aren't going to pick an algorithm like that for you, but if you pick one, code it up, and supply us with the image and some code that you are having a problem with, then we can help, but only if we can answer in a few minutes of time.
