lte waveform generation wsing LTETestModelTool

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi,
I recently installed LTE Toolbox licence. I started using LTETestModel tool for downlink waveform generation for different cellids.
The problem is irrespective of testmodel number, for only cellid 0, they have high PAPR/crest factor.
Do someone have any idea about this behaviour? If someone encountered or observed this scenario, please do reply back

Hi,
These are standard defined E-TM waveforms, and therefore they are downlink OFDM with the associated PAPR levels. However, note that the NCellID is expected to be > 0. See TS 38.141 section 6.1.2: NCellID = 1 for the lowest configured carrier, NCellID = 2 for the 2nd lowest configured carrier,…, NCellID = n for the nth configured carrier.

Hi Graham,
Thank you for the answer.
So you mean all the cell id 0 signals are defined to have high PAPR?

Not specifically, I mean that the test models are not defined for NCellID = 0.
