Dear MathWorks-Teams,
Im trying to understand how a DC Motor works. So I made a simple model of operation between a simple DC Motor and a mechanical system. Well I would like to know why the current does not also come down again after having apply a certain mass on the system, as it is the case at the beginning.
Thanks you for your answers.sim_DC_Motor.PNG

At time 10 the load torque is increased from 0 and it settles at around 0.4. As the load stays at a nonzero value it is normal the current will also settle to a corresponding nonzero value.
