setting axis font size on scatter plot

Hi, I'm making a scatter plot as follows:

MATLAB CODE
  sc = scatter(x1ValuesToPlot, x2ValuesToPlot, 4, 'filled');

    %Final plot UI.
    title(graphTitle, 'FontSize', 7);
    set(gcf,'Color',[1 1 1]);

As you can see I'm setting the title font size. How would I set the axis font size please? All the best, Tom.
