Is there planned support for NI-ELVIS II with Simulink Desktop Real-Time ?

I understand that the DAQ toolbox was not meant for real-time control. Mathworks supports real-time control with the PCI6251 (that is on our NI-ELVIS I) but not ELVIS II, even though the latter is supported by the DAQ toolbox.
a) Is there planned SLDRT support for the ELVIS II ? b) Is the reason for the current lack of support the fact that the ELVIS II is USB ? That's the [totally uneducated] impression I get looking at supported hardware @ https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/simulink-desktop-real-time.html c) Has anyone successfully done real-time control using Matlab and ELVIS II that they can share ?
Kind regards.
