Any way to have the sstatus of a for loop display lower corner

I know I can have the status of a for loop display in the command window however unfortunately my for loop produced results that are going in the command window and when I display the loop status it eliminates the results after about a hundred or so lines. I need to keep the command window open to display th eresults and wonder if there is another way to display the status of the loop.
