Identifying the start and end of the toe region in a tendon failure test using the Riemersma (??) method

Hi,

I'm performing ramp to failure tests (displacement control) on tendon samples and have been recommended to use this method to objectively identify the start and end of the toe region of the plot. I think, but I'm not certain, that this technique comes from:

Acta Anat (Basel). 1993;146(2-3):120-2. A method to estimate the initial length of equine tendons. Riemersma DJ, van den Bogert AJ.

My question is, please, can anyone engaged in similar tests help by providing the code?
