how to pass data from one gui to another

i have two gui one is main and other is subgui. i want value given in edit text of my main gui should be diplayed in my sub gui's edit text on click of a push button. Assume i am using guide for making gui's.? Any help will be appreciated.

please reply as soon as possible i am waiting and its very much urgent.

What have you tried so far and which problem occurred? It is easier to fix a code than to solve the problem from scratch. Especially if you think that you are in a hurry, it is recommended to make an answer as easy as possible.

Did you read the FAQ already? See point 5.16 for sharing data between GUIs.
