subplot change size of xtick ytick

How do i change the size of my xtick ytick in subplot ? This is a part of my code

set(gca, 'XTick', 0.5:0.1:1, 'YTick', 0:0.2:1);
axis(gca,'square');
legend('3DOP', 'MCG-D', 'MCG', 'EB', 'SS', 'BING');
xlabel('Intersection Over Union');

Thanks ! I tried xt = get(gca, 'XTick'); set(gca, 'FontSize', 15); but it didnt work. Your method is simpler and it works
