Dear Mr/Mrs,
I have some questions: 1. could you please assist me on how to fit the delay differential equation (dde) in matlab? some example will be helpful. 2. is it possible to use dde in simbiology matlab and fit it? Thank you so much for your answer.
Best Regards, Deni Hardiansyah

Hi,
You can solve delayed differential equations in MATLAB using the function dde23. You can find more information and examples on the reference page. As of R2016b, dde23 is not supported with SimBiology.

Thank you for the answer, could you please also help me on how to fit the dde equation to the data? and also estimate the standard error of the estimated parameter? it so unfortunate that I cant use Simbiology for this purpose as I need population analysis in the end.
