if i have two matrix in different size how can i subtract it ??

if i have
A =[ 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
0 1 0 1 0 1 0 0 2 0
3 1 1 2 1 1 4 2 1 5 ]
AND
X = [ 0 1 1 0 0 0 1 2 0 1
5 1 1 4 1 4 2 1 2 1 ]
how can i do this
z2 = abs(sum(M_column1 ~= M_column2))
