Noise filtering from Excel Data

I have data in excel file. i was able plot it in the matlab. but this data is full of noise. i know how to use the filters for the noisy functions. But i need to know how to filter the data from the excel file..PLease help

You first need to do the fft to define the frequencies of your signal and the frequencies of your noise, then design a filter for it. For broadband ‘impulse’ noise, you will not be able completely to eliminate it.

If you are able to plot the data in MATLAB, then I would advise doing all data filtering operations within MATLAB. Once you have the desired filtered data, you can write it back to the Excel file using the xlswrite() command. More information can be found here.
