deploytool

hello, I have a .m file and would like to convert to an executable, or a dll. currently I have a basic Matlab license. when I type 'deploytool' in matlab, i get the red error in that the function/variable is not defined. Is this the method to create an executable? and what license do I need?

You need the MATLAB compiler to do this
