I was trying to make an Image Background with ButtonDownFcn on edit box. But it seems ButtonDownFcn wont work if theres an Axes figure.

Please post the relevant part of the code, which reproduces the problem. I do not understand, what and "Image Background on edit box" is. What is "an Axes figure"? Whose ButtonDownFcn does not work?
