The Property Inspector pane does not appear to have a 'Close' button in R2025b, nor does its sidebar icon appear to have a dropdown selection to close, unlike most other sidebar icons. Why is that? How is it intended for the Property Inspector to be closed?

I'm not seeing that panel. Where are you seeing it? MATLAB? AppDesigner?

@Image Analyst If you right-click on a graphics object (e.g. colorbar), there will be a dropdown option to open a Property Inspector panel.

You can just left click the icon to collapse it.
If you want it to go away, you can deselect "Select & Plot Edit" if you were using it. Or deselect "More Properties" under the Format tab.
