I am trying to simulate multiple faults in a system where I have several step inputs and each of them has a gain fault associated with it. But when I start simulating it, I get the following error:
Unable to simulate fault on inport/outport of block 'Test/STEP1_HYBRID_A_InV' as it is may have been optimized out or substituted during compilation.
What does that mean?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry you're running into this error.
It appears that the block was treated as a virtual block during compilation, and became "unavailable" during simulation after being optimized.
I recommend contacting MathWorks Technical Support so we can help you directly, and we may have some additional questions.
Thanks again.
