Attached the snippet of the scalar orange overflow error reported by polyspace in the project we are working with
how to overcome this orange error as we are sure the reported operation is within sint16 data type result ?

Hi Dinesh,
If you're confident that the orange check is incorrect, you may justify the orange check or add the code annotation to suppress the warning.
