TS_PROCESS_CRASHED error virtualised macOS 14.4.1

16 views (last 30 days)
Hello, I am trying to install MATLAB on a virtualised macOS 14.4.1 instance. However, the installer crashes, reporting 'TS_PROCESS_CRASHED'. I have Corretto 11 installed and 12GB of RAM is allocated to the VM. What might be the cause of this? The host machine is a M3 Pro 36GB model.

Facing the same issue.
When used directly on my mac, it installs without any issue.

Hi Robbie,
I also faced a similar issue some time back, so what worked for me was to launch the installer as 'root' user or run the installer with 'sudo' from command line.
Hope it helps!

Unfortunately this does not fix the issue for me. Thank you anyway though.
