how to use vitis with mathwork image

hello everyone ,

we are using the zc706+fcomms2 board and relies on the mathwork image (from matlab) and your reference design .

in one of our project we were needed to add an external RTL block whose output go straight into the IRQ_F2P interrupt input of the PS as you can see in the picture below :

now we want to use vitis to write a script which take advantage of the new interrupt but we have several problems that we wish you can solve use:

1. my partner wrote his entire source code in eclipse environment using only the libiio library so for him most of the perhiperhals that are on the fpga are transperant to him and my code (written on vitis) need to pass some flag to him while the interrupt accure . how you do it because we working on different ide on the first place?
2. when i learned to use vitis i only knew how to use it on baremetal application for example on basys3, and know we relies on mathwork image for the zc706+fcomms2 so it is not baremetal scnario anymore. how you incopparate the vitis with mathwork buildroot image ?
