How to import time (HH:MM:SS) from a text file and plot it

Hey everyone,
I have a text file which has some data, separated in columns(date, time, x, y, z) like:
10/1/2014 00:00:00.000 1500.000 1500.000 2000.000
.
.
10/1/2014 23:59:30.000 3000.000 1500.000 1000.000
What I actually want to do is insert programmatically (due to a large number of files) the 2nd column of time and the 3rd, 4th, 5th columns of x, y and z to a table, let's call it A (dimensions n x 4). How then can i plot x, y and z versus the 1st column (time in x axis), without having an error? I have tried the commands datenum, but the 1st columns is been transformed to serial date number and I cannot actually show the original time (00:00:00, 00:00:30, ...) in x-axis. Does anyone know how exactly can I do this ?
Thank you in advance. I hope there will be an answer as soon as possible.
