Is it possible to detect more than 1 object of the same type using this code?

I was wandering if it is possible to implement this program in the link to be able to detect more than 1 object of the same kind and then count them.

For example, if the scene picture in the link contained 2 boxes of the same type or features. How can i implement this program to detect the 2 boxes using the box database image and then later on be able to count them.
